Seasonal Dock Installations

• Piling dock: If you need a dock for larger watercraft or you need a dock that's durable, you'll want to consider a piling dock. This type of dock is constructed to have a large wooden beam driven deep into the ground, making it a durable option. Ideal for withstanding strong currents.

• Floating dock: Our Oshkosh dock builders construct floating docks for our clients who need a dock that is highly adaptable. Floating docks consist of a large platform that sits over airtight drums, which float on the water. In the case of severe weather, the benefit of floating docks is that you can remove them easily. • Pipe dock: Pipe docks are great if you have shallow water. This dock type consists of an aluminum frame with removeable docking. Another great, adaptable choice.

 

Permanent Dock Installations

At Radtke, our dock builders can also install a permanent dock. If you need a more stable dock for your watercraft, you may want to consider a year-round, permanent dock.

• Crib dock: As their name implies, crib docks are designed from cribs, or wooden frames/crates. We install these along the bottom. Crib docks are exceptionally durable, however, keep in mind that they are considerably more expensive than other dock types.

• Suspension dock: These docks, similar to a drawbridge, hang over the water with cables. This means that they will have little impact on the surrounding environment. Overall, suspension docks are better choice for the environmentally-conscious.
